Erik Quaal (Co-Owner)
Erik has been coaching gymnastics in the Capital Region since 1995. In 2011, he was named Junior Olympic Coach of the Year. Erik currently serves as the head of New York State USA Gymnastics and is also a clinician for USA Gymnastics. He served as the uneven bar coach at the prestigious, invitation only, Working Together for Nationals Clinic, hosted by Region 6 gymnastics. Along with coaching national champions and numerous NCAA full scholarship recipients, Erik coached the Adirondack women’s gymnastics team from 2002-2010. In that time, his athletes won over a hundred medals. Erik earned his BS from Siena College.
Amichai Sabari (Co-Owner)
Ami has been coaching at World Class Gymnastics Academy since 1995. He also serves as a clinician for USA Gymnastics. He has coached many national champions and NCAA full scholarship recipients. As a gymnast, Ami was a state and regional champion in the all around. He earned his BS from UAlbany.
Bob Hardisty (Boys Director)
Bob has been coaching at World Class Gymnastics Academy for over 15 years, with over 30 years experience overall. In that time, he has coached numerous state, regional and national level athletes. He was named New York State Men’s Coach of the Year twice. Bob has also served as a guest coach for the South African National Team.
Craig Bednarczyk
Craig has been coaching at World Class Gymnastics Academy since 2005. Since taking over as head vault coach, his athletes have experienced great success. That includes finishing first, second and third at the 2012 state championships.
Steve Swider
Steve has been coaching at World Class Gymnastics Academy since 2006. He is an assistant on the boys team and also a girls intramural coach. As a gymnast at World Class, he was a four time Junior Olympic national qualifier. He then competed on the Division 1 level at Springfield College. Steve has a BA in Environmental Science and is working on a Master’s Degree in secondary education.
Jan Zoller
Jan has been coaching at World Class Gymnastics Academy since 2004. As a gymnast, she was a Level 9 Regional finalist on balance beam. In college, she moved on to diving where she was a three time MAAC champion on the 3 meter board at Marist College. After graduating with a Diver of the Year honor in 1996, she coached diving at Skidmore College for two years. Jan is also an advertising specialist for Product Development Corp.
Julie Bushart
Julie has been coaching at World Class Gymnastics Academy since 1997, but began her coaching career before that in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has coached children from pre-school to high school, including the gym’s intramural team. Julie is safety certified in basic life support. She earned her BAS in exercise physiology from Slippery Rock University. She is also a secretary at St. Peter’s Hospital.
Christina Biviano
Christina has been coaching at World Class Gymnastics Academy since 2010. As a gymnast, after finishing her high school career at World Class, she went to The College at Brockport State University of New York. There, she was an All American on uneven bars and floor exercise in 2008 and 2009. Christina is a teacher aide/tutor at Southgate Elementary School in the North Colonie school district.
